Our Foundation

• Lantern was formed through a carve-out from a larger financial institution, anchored by a portfolio where Andy Mitchell deployed a similar strategy while leading a Global Special Assets Group during the recession from 2007 to 2010.

• That early portfolio included resorts, residential communities, and real estate assets across North America, Hawaii, and Europe.

Expanding & Entertaining

• In 2018, Lantern’s acquisition of The Weinstein Company and Dimension Films expanded the platform into entertainment, adding depth in content, strategic relationships, and experiential assets.

Bluejack & Beyond

• In 2024, Lantern expanded its Bluejack partnership with Tiger Woods, adding a second private club and community alongside a large mixed-use commercial development in Fort Worth—reinforcing Lantern’s focus on hospitality, lifestyle, and destination-driven platforms.
